2016 Sees Golf In The Olympics
It has been announced in recent months that Golf will be in the Olympics which I have to say is pretty good if you are into the sport but for the other people is this going to be a sport you can sit and watch for two weeks??
Well I must say that Golf isn’t dull at all and thousands of people both play and watch the sport. Thousands of people also pay good money to go and watch the professionals play across both America and the UK which means that people will almost defiantly be paying money to go and watch it in 2016 for the games.
Any Problems?
There may be a few problems with having the golf in the Olympics and that is that most of the top players in the world are either from America or UK which means that the medals could be very one sided indeed. The Olympic Games are not big on being unfair so I am wondering what they are going to do to fix this. The people behind this sport have already said that the top 15 players of the world will get in which means the lovely medals will be going to them right??
What they need to do is have a few different categories so it gives people outside of the top golfers a fair chance.
It has a few intital teething problems like most things but I am sure that along with Rugby, Golf will be very welcome in the Games.
Charge up those golf batteries , get those battery accessories going and get ready for some golf action in 2016!
